Women were training and pushing themselves harder than ever, yet coaches had little to no understanding of female hormone balance, thyroid function, gut health, or adrenal support — and even less knowledge of how to properly test or address these key systems.
They were chasing external results but at the cost of internal health. That realization became the foundation of my mission — to bridge functional health with elite-level training so women can thrive inside and out.
As a lifelong athlete and an IFBB Pro, I’ve seen firsthand how hard work and discipline can take you far, but I’ve also seen what happens when health is left behind in the pursuit of performance.
I started competing in 2007 and won my WNSO natural pro card in bikini in my first competition, going on to place third in their World Championships later that year. I went on to heavily compete for the next year and a half, placing top 3 in every competition. However, due to the extreme nature of the sport and the lack of functional health knowledge I had at the time, my sex hormones took a hit and I experienced amenorrhea for a year and half. Thankfully, through the power of modern science and the grace of God, my husband and I were blessed with two sets of twins via the IVF process in 2009 and 2012.
During that time, I worked with hundreds of women — from competitive athletes to high-performing professionals — helping them unlock optimal health as well as strength, energy, and confidence both on stage and in life.
